According to my experience, these adapters did not meet my expectations in terms of accuracy and usability. Although they seem to be durable and affordable, the readings were inconsistent and did not match up with other testing equipment. The design also makes it difficult to connect the adapters properly, leading to inaccurate readings. While the idea of using compression adapters is great, these particular ones were a letdown in execution.

Bought as a gift, worked perfectly on a chainsaw, herbivore and mustang 5.0 liter. I will order 1 for myself. The carrying case is very good, ease of use is good, many plug-in hole adapters. Highly recommended for garden mechanics.

Works well on single-stroke engines. Compression was 0psi. Fill the cylinder with oil and the compression will stay at 0psi, indicating a possible valving problem. The exhaust valve found was leaking, so the old valves were cleaned and lapped. The compression increased from 0 psi to 142 psi using a straight shaft with gauge. This tool helped me avoid a full engine rebuild.
