When used for Diesel Transfer

For Diesel Transfer you will need to add a three-eighths inch inlet line if you want a faster transfer. Add an in-line fuel filter to remove any contaminants from the source container. When changing the oil, it works great the way it is.

Pros
  • Hard Surface
Cons
  • Interval

Cheap vane pump, very slow.

These are rotary vane pumps with copper seals and reasonable construction considering their low cost. Very weak suction for filling, but once filled will pump approximately 1 liter of engine oil at 80 degrees Fahrenheit in 5.5 minutes. I only poured in about a gallon, but there's no reason to think it won't hold many more gallons.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Great little pump! - Fuel delivery and lubrication

Bought the same pump 2 years ago and what a little workhorse it is. Bought these for my uncle. Best of all, you no longer have to crawl under the car and fiddle with the drain plug. Plus, you'll never over-tighten a drain plug again. A word of caution, don't use this to suck anything other than oil. Also make sure the oil is 120-130 degrees. If you try to pump out cold oil with this pump, it will take forever!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Works great for the price!

I used this to replace the ATF in my truck, only used it once so far. It's not "fast" but fast enough! I estimate it took 5 or 10 minutes to pump 5 liters of ATF out of my transmission and about the same to pump the next 5 liters. The hoses were long enough and it just worked. The same pump is sold under different brands. I bought the ATPTOOL brand for $20. Zero complaints for the price!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Clarity

Works as expected + modification!

Tested, works as expected, engine preheat recommended. I guess I voided the warranty, but I made a custom power supply harness using an M12 Milwaukee battery while I could still use jumper cables to connect to the battery. I also used a 5 gallon bucket for capacity. I'm a small engine/commercial power equipment mechanic and this has worked well on equipment with awkward drain points that make a mess when draining. A slightly misplaced point for most people buying this, I've gotten quite a few…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some defects

Neat but not perfect.

Pros: Does the job. Cons: Must be connected to a car battery. Pros: The hoses are oversized, one fits the brake bleeder plug, the other fits with a plastic insert that fits my power steering hose perfectly and is interchangeable. Cons: The positive clip and wire came loose when removed from the battery on first use. If you get one I would suggest using pliers to tighten the point where the wire and clip come together. Pros: great price. In summary, the quality is high enough for everything to…

Impressive little car

First of all I do most of the mechanical work myself with all my equipment and vehicles. Ordered this little pump to try out and am very pleased. Used this to pump oil out of my old Ford 3000 tractor and it worked phenomenally! It takes a little, around 10-15 minutes, to pump it all out, but I'm definitely happy with what it's doing. A lot of reviews say to warm up the engine first and I figured that sounded late because you don't want to run hot oil through the pump. Will likely damage the…
