It was still winter when I ordered this product and when it was warm enough to install the product it turned out to be short. And since more than 30 days have passed, there is no return or refund.

Works perfectly and can lift engines without disconnecting the linkage. I had to make a mount for the trolling motor, but that's what I expected. Quick disconnects on the ends come in handy when removing a small motor. Plus great two day shipping from Revain.

Great quality, the threaded rod was very long and was cut in half to make room for my hanging hardware. Very pleased and quick release ball joints a plus. Went to the local port and they were trying to sell me a much more expensive rod system and they had to order it anyway. Revine was delivered within 2 days. Highly recommended

I was trying to use this to connect a slant tube steering cable from another boat and brand to my 1960's Evinrude engine. I couldn't get it to work, but this part got me closer to doing it. I'm pretty sure that if used for its intended purpose it's a phenomenal piece of communication, especially for the price. I'll use it for something I'm sure I won't throw away.

Enclosed is my 83 year old 50hp Mercury. to my 82 year old kicker 7.5. Works perfectly. Comes with a variety of mounting options and depending on your engine you should be able to find a combination that works. I will actually order another one to back up. Can't beat the price. It's a little "light" and I don't know if it will be strong enough for a much larger engine combo than the one I'm using it on. But that range is okay.

At first I had a little trouble unscrewing the ball latch on the right end (it was really tight). Tailor each to my needs afterwards and it really works! I've tried expensive kicker and trolling motor controls in the past that have always caused problems (EZ Steer, separate steering controls, etc.). The really high tech stuff that tour guides usually use is way too expensive. This way I steer when trolling with fast local shutdown in an accessible area inside the boat at a price I can afford.
