Great idea, doesn't work.

I love this idea and it was recommended by the vet, but the toenail holes are too far apart which pushes them back a few steps. I have three dogs and have even looked at other breeds and they just don't/do not fit.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Updates

Not very good boots for dogs

very difficult to put on. It's easy to fall. They seem to need constant attention, directing them to stand squarely on the dog's paw, tying fingers to the hole, or leading back. It was too much to keep track of a service dog's work. The price was good.

Pros
  • comfortable item
Cons
  • almost never

therefore they fit well on the ankle

They didn't fit at all. The boots have no laces so they fit snugly at the ankle but are baggy at the toes. I'll add more holes and see. Otherwise they are great. REALLY very durable and I love how they breathe. I think I can get them right and they are great for cycling with my dog!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Can't stay right

This is the worst product design. In no case do they stick by what they owe. Perhaps they would hold in place better if the top was worn over the dewclaw pad. You can't even tie them tight enough without feeling like you're cutting off the blood circulation in the dog's paw. Putting them on a dog will get you lots of patience points in heaven. They're not easy to install. Luckily my dog is completely accommodating and lets me do everything but most dogs are a bit on their feet so good luck ifโ€ฆ

Buy them now, they are the best!

My friend's dog has severe allergies and skin conditions that cause the pads and skin on his paws to become thin and tear easily on rocks and uneven terrain. We love taking them on adventures, but it was always risky and we couldn't get past less traveled trails. As a dog professional, I love dog gear. I bought her silicone rubber boots which she really liked but her feet are swollen as she is allergic to many types of plastic. As a last resort I thought I would try these and they are perfectโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Translucent

I had to tie an extra leather cord under the bottom lace holes and just above my dog's pad. Now he's holding up really well - running through fields and forests, bathing in the river, on gravel and pavement. My dog has flat feet and the balls of her toes get infected without any protection. So she only wears one of these boots on this foot and every day on every walk. It's a bit of work to put on and I don't want to wear all four boots on every outing. However, there are some major advantagesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent overall specs
Cons
  • Weight
