This subwoofer is small but powerful. I have this 10" in a quality vented box and it sounds great! If you're looking for bass with quality sound and punch this is it. Of course I wasn't looking for a subwoofer that would smash my windows , although this subwoofer complements your highs and mids perfectly. It stays in rhythm like a champ. Overall I would describe this sub as a mix of punch and boom. That's all you need.

I've had this subwoofer for a few weeks now and it's amazing! The high power rating makes it powerful enough even when you turn the bass control all the way down! It has great punch combined with tight, clean bass, all delivered with ease. I have a 250 watt amp, that's enough for this sub. I installed this subwoofer in a 3/4" MFD box, which is just under a cubic foot but is elongated. The box was made specifically for installation in a Cherokee (see XJ pod just made at home for 10". I then stuffed the box with polyester and hooked it up to an Infinity 1300a (200 watts RMS into 4 ohms). This subwoofer is a very good upgrade from the standard subwoofer in the LSi15 floorstanding speakers. excellent 5.25" drivers in the speakers, in the 8" version it is hollow, thin and poorly driven compared to this subwoofer with about the same sensitivity.
