Quality construction, quality bass

This subwoofer is small but powerful. I have this 10" in a quality vented box and it sounds great! If you're looking for bass with quality sound and punch this is it. Of course I wasn't looking for a subwoofer that would smash my windows , although this subwoofer complements your highs and mids perfectly. It stays in rhythm like a champ. Overall I would describe this sub as a mix of punch and boom. That's all you need.

Sounds good outdoors

I bought this to fit a 2011 Hyundai Genesis coupe. Mine didn't have a good stereo so I also bought an amplifier and a line out converter to connect speaker wire to have RCA outputs. I was skeptical at first because even Polk said it should be in the box. I screwed it into this 8 inch hole on the back deck, plugged everything in and put in some of my childhood music. Okay, he won't win any awards, but it sounded really good. The bass was deep and loud. The trunk also works well as a box. The…

Very good for my setup

Newly installed Rockford fog grooves on the front doors of my Toyota Hilux and then boxes were made to mount this subwoofer behind the back seat. My system is very simple and I don't even use an amplifier for this subwoofer. I can power and control the subwoofer from my Pioneer deck by unplugging the speakers in the tailgate and simply using one of the rear cables to connect directly to my subwoofer. . I didn't want to be heard a mile away, just wanted to add some bass to fill my Hilux's…

Incredible strength!

I've had this subwoofer for a few weeks now and it's amazing! The high power rating makes it powerful enough even when you turn the bass control all the way down! It has great punch combined with tight, clean bass, all delivered with ease. I have a 250 watt amp, that's enough for this sub. However, it's so powerful that I've configured the ports to run it at just 125W, which seems more ideal for my machine. I have it in my 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser, so since it's a hatchback, the subwoofer…

Good sound, a little noisy

I installed this subwoofer in a 3/4" MFD box, which is just under a cubic foot but is elongated. The box was made specifically for installation in a Cherokee (see XJ pod just made at home for 10". I then stuffed the box with polyester and hooked it up to an Infinity 1300a (200 watts RMS into 4 ohms). Not sure if it's about polyester or whether the box is attached directly to the frame, but when I first turned it on I simply set the gain to 4V (like my components) and before I set it up the bass

10 " woofer nut

I have a '97 CamaroSS with a custom built add-on enclosure on the driver's side rear. The other components I have are a Planet Audio AC1800.5 MOSFET five-channel power amplifier, 300W x 4, 600W x 1 max power, Rear speakers: 6.5" Pioneer TSD1602R two-way speakers w/ 260W Max Power Output, Front Speakers: 6.75" Pioneer TS-D1720C 280W D Series Speaker Set, Pioneer DEH-P9400BH CD Receiver. The key to my listening was putting together an inexpensive system with good performance. When it comes to…

Built in to replace the stock Mitsu Montero subwoofer

So I blew up the stock subwoofer on my Mitsubishi Montero (with Infinity Sound) and because I couldn't find the model of the previous stock subwoofer nor any subwoofers that were made for I chose this subwoofer. After disassembling the car to get the subwoofer, we hooked up this subwoofer right where the old one was, same Infinity amp and all. Not that anyone else has a Mitsubishi Montero, but if you have one. and you have an Infinity Sound system, this subwoofer will work as a replacement…

Upgrade for Polk Audio LSi15

This subwoofer is a very good upgrade from the standard subwoofer in the LSi15 floorstanding speakers. excellent 5.25" drivers in the speakers, in the 8" version it is hollow, thin and poorly driven compared to this subwoofer with about the same sensitivity. The Lsi15s are what you pay for (MSRP or lower), but this factory replacement subwoofer fixes the only downside I've had with them. Movies are too. It also sounds great and is proportionally really quiet or "melts my high frequency…

Good sound, a bit loud

I installed this subwoofer in a 3/4" MFD box, which is a little less than a cubic foot, but assumes an oblong shape.
