Slide copier in slide and negative scanners

I have read all the reviews that I could find about this product. It seemed like a "love it or hate it" proposition. The price was right so I took a chance. I have 1963 slides from all over the world. It took me about 5 days off to download them all to my computer. I wish there was more control over brightness, and a warning that the queue is full should appear before attempting to scan a slide. In general I am very happy with the results. If only I could remember the names of all my fellow…

Ion Slide Scanners: Office Electronics

This product does not scan in original colors, slides are blurry and sharp Ion Audio USB Image, Slide & Movie Scanner (PICS2PC) I used this scanner for 200 slides and the next time I went to scan it didn't work. I have tried EVERYTHING but it seems that the scanner unit is not working. What a waste of money. I would invest in a different scanner. I wish I had known that before purchasing this item.

PICS2PC Scanner Overview

The good news is that this product is significantly faster than a flatbed scanner. The bad news is that image quality is poor to mediocre. Images are fuzzy and colors are washed out or wrong. Dark details are lost. The product was very easy to set up and use, although some of the file save menus were confusing. This would be a great product if the images were clear and accurate. I have given up using it. I am using my HP flatbed scanner again to scan several thousand images - a slow process but

But works fine.

Before purchasing the Ion PICS2PC I had tried other slide scanners and returned them all for one reason or another, particularly the poor performance of the software. This is the best scanner I've tried and I'm keeping it. I have already converted 50 slides on the first day and the results are satisfactory. However, I am disappointed in one thing: the slide drawer, which holds 3 slides, has a lock that is difficult to open. I feel like I spend a lot of time opening it when loading and unloading

transaction at the price paid.

I had several hundred slides hidden in my garage. Untouched for 40 years. Set up the device. Installed the software and started scanning. Many slides of people were so bright that their faces were obscured. First disappointment. Don't worry Tried NeroPhotosnap Viewer, Thumbs Plus, Paint and Adobe Photoshop Viewer. There was still no happy camper. I soon realized that the film's original exposure was to blame. Then it dawned on me why not try Blaze. Unfamiliar with it, I started playing around…
