Works well. It was easy to install and didn't come loose even after multiple uses over 6 months and was stored outside uncoated (San Diego summer). The old gasket was almost gone when I replaced it and the top banged against the bottom when I opened/closed it. I give it a 4/5 because it could be stickier, but then again it didn't come off so can't complain.

It came quickly and intact. The only downside, as others have said, is that the shim is a bit wide, leaving you with the choice of lining up the outside edge so it's a snug fit to insert the grille, or letting it hang down from the outside to make installation difficult. strip back. I'm very familiar with the concept of smooth plastic backing on adhesive. I've rummaged about it in many different places and there has never been a split. He always wanted to completely free himself from the felt. The adhesive appears to be fully bonded to the substrate. A trick I use sometimes is to take some tape and apply it to the edge of the backing to separate, and even that never showed the slightest bit of separation. So I couldn't try to install.

Still sticking well and width was perfect for Kamado Big Joe. However, it was written on the packaging that there was enough for both the main seals and the vent seal. I applied the sealer per the instructions on the bottom and was about 4 inches from the top. I'm glad I didn't remove the old gasket on the top vent. I had to purchase another pack to fill the 4 inch gap left on the main gasket. Serious?!?! Could you give me 4 more inches to fit?
