Great price and great work

I had the same issue as the others listed here. I think all the lights on the dash were on. I have used a code reader and have had about five returns related to the front left wheel ABS wheel sensor and ABS module. I replaced the left front sensor, started the car, the lights came on for a second or two and then went out. I kept the right one as a spare as the dealer replaced it a few years ago.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Nothing here

Good quality, good price, compatible with Tiguan 2010

For Tiguan 2010, this sensor is worth buying. It looks like it only comes in pairs, so either swap them out and get two new sensors, or keep a spare. But I bought another one that said it was compatible but it's not. OEM was 50+ diagnosis at dealer 119 and I don't even know how to work. So for $20 you can't go wrong, if you see a Tiguan dashboard that lights up like a Christmas tree, buy that.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not bad

Fiction. on ABS

Worked like new once installed. Only my driver's side failed, but at the same time replaced my drivers. My ABS and traction control lights went on and off randomly. Fixed after installation. Not sure how long they will last. Stock driven up to 137,000 km. If you want to know how to install them, watch the YouTube video. Very easy to install. Just twist and pull. Be careful not to break them when you pull them. Thermal cycling will cause them to crack when pulled.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Worked great. Super low price! Learned to choose this brand.

Replaced all 4 wheel speed sensors on my wife's VW CC after 2 of them failed and the car was trying to kill my wife. The rear received a different (unnamed) brand and the front received this Autex brand. The front ones are ok. None of the nameless brands worked. No one. Straight out of the box. These AUTEX brands are cheap and my respected German auto mechanic said they would fit. He immediately noticed the problem with the others. Lesson learned.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Worked on my VW Jetta S-2013

This set of two ABS sensors is perfect for my 2013 Volkswagen Jetta S Sedan, base model. The factory ABS sensor lasted almost 180,000, it split in half when disassembled. I fixed that patience and my drill with small to medium bits. After pulling the rusty plastic out of the metal cylinder that houses the sensor, the new ones popped right in and my trouble codes instantly disappeared without the need to reset using an OBD reader or even a button for TPMS on the dash. Happy customer!

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Expensive

As one reviewer said, I got a "Christmas tree" with warning lights lit up. (Ancel VD500) nearby and the code "B10B300" popped up. Some studies have shown: "No, no, hardly an airbag. Probably a problem with the ABSโ€, so I looked around for ABS speed sensors. Dealer prices were $140 each. An additional market was $30 to $60 each. Saw this pair for about $20 and read the reviews and said; "What the heck, try it." Fair warning, if you change them on a high mileage car (2012 VW Jetta, 95,000 miles)โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented

ABS sensor required

Multiple ABS sensors on my VW Jetta started shutting down at the same time. Luckily I was able to spot this early as I drive with a BlueDriver OBD2 scanner. I neglected to swap them out until one day the red brake light and EPC light came on along with the ABS, traction control and airbag lights I already had. At this point the car starts but stalls when the gear is engaged. I rescanned the computer and now it had codes for every module in the car. I have found that ABS, traction controlโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Don't remind me

Great price and easy installation.

I went to a local certified VW mechanic, not a dealer or service center, who read the computer codes for free and told me exactly what the problem was when my 2014 VW Tiguan started having this dashboard to fill a panel with signal lamps that light up periodically at startup. He told me exactly which sensor was faulty (ABS right front), gave me the part number and even checked Revain and showed me what to order! If this happens to you, the problem depends on which ABS sensor is faulty/failedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
