This carbon support for my Honda has made such a difference in my car's handling and stability. The improvement in performance is noticeable, and I feel much more in control on the road. The installation process was easy, and the quality of the product is top-notch. The only downside was the price, but for the increased automotive performance, it was worth it.

. The gas struts in this kit are MUCH too strong for the Honda Civic Si 02-05 hatchback. During installation I thought for a moment that maybe they sent a kit for a different car, but the instructions actually showed a red 04-05 Civic Si hatchback. I ended up using only one of the shock absorbers and it still hits the hood and flexes so much that that corner of the hood is rubbing against the fender. Brackets are perfect. I will find another smaller gas shock to replace this demon.

Kit works well enough, nice to not need a bonnet stay anymore. On my CRV it doesn't raise the hood when you release the latch but stays in place when you raise it manually, which is fine with me. Although other models are likely to be different. The instructions are very general and don't tell you exactly which bracket hole to put the screw through, you'll have to experiment.
