    Temporary repair best in spares

    Fixed the leak but still the reason my motor started to seize and I had to replace the entire magneto anyway. Not sure if the screen just doesn't fit or what, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. I don't want to discourage you from buying, I'm just sharing my experience.

    DO NOT BUY - Will have serious consequences P3497 Engine Code

    Incorrect filter size on these gaskets will result in a low pressure reading causing the front valve block to deploy and triggering engine code P3497. The code appears 25 miles after the gasket has been replaced. The only solution I have found to fix both the leak and the engine code is to replace the valve spool with a Honda OEM. Bought, installed and replaced with a 2009 Honda Accord V6.

    Fits perfectly! on seals

    The dealer charged me $1000 to replace a leaking coil assembly on my 2008 Honda Odyssey. The real problem here are the two magnetic seals that have failed and need to be replaced. The Honda dealer does not sell gaskets. After a long search I found these pads at Revain. For $9.99 and $7.99 for both pads, I was able to save $1,000. The pads fit and work perfectly.     Great for spares

    Gasket in great condition and arrived in excellent condition. If you have a 2011 Honda Pilot and the front control valve or front solenoid valve is leaking oil. Buy these two parts together and replace everything in 10 minutes. You don't want to spend more than $150 on the entire solenoid and replace it yourself. The dealer charges $700 to do the job.     I hoped but didn't fix the oil leak.

    From my research, a leaking VVT control valve seems to be a very common problem on Honda V6s. The dealer does not sell new seals. They wanted to replace the entire valve for almost $1,000. I was very hopeful when I found these aftermarket pads but they didn't work. I installed them and alternately tightened them slowly until I tightened them to 102 in-lbs for the first time. Started the engine and there is a slow leak. I increased the torque to 110lbs and checked but still leaking. I increased…

    Leaked in a few months

    Installs these again in October. It seemed to work fine for several months as I regularly checked the valve for leaks and it was sparkling clean. But now maybe 5 months later I have a fairly significant leak which I hope doesn't blow my generator again. In just a few months, they roughly doubled in size, causing the leak.
