🚗 Efficient Trailer Brake Controller Module for 2015-2020 Ford F150 JL3Z2C006AA - AUTOKAY brand Review

I couldn't think of a $220 OEM part that fits or performs better than this part. I couldn't ask for more and a perfect fit. 2015 F150XL

Not a bad install but once installed you will need to go to a Ford dealer to program it before it works or buy a scanner and do it yourself. The tires are still under warranty so I had to go to the dealer to have them programmed.

Edit: After seeing my review they contacted me to send me a replacement. Excellent customer service. I hope the first one was just an accident. It worked fine before it blew up. Stopped at a gas station with my camper. Just as I was about to drive off, the trailer brakes jammed. I could smell the electrics burning inside the truck. Neatly disassembled and taken out the controller. It was a very hot bed, the source of the burning smell. Worked for 1 year and hardly used.

Broken Switch. I installed the switch and set up a 2018 Ford Expedition with ForScan. The boost worked well. Gain down was VERY finicky and didn't work consistently. The button had to be pressed at an odd angle for it to work. At the end of our first trip with a trailer, the switch failed completely, constantly braking the trailer at full power.
