Scrap scrap scrap!: Center punch

In this set of 2 I have one punch for approx. The other is just as unreliable but less predictable as to when it will or won't work. i will take more

Worked great as a metal perforator. Also got some as emergency car window punches.

Great product. Used a punch on some sheet metal for fencing. My son gave me one to use as a smack on a car window in an accident. He's a highway cop. I used it on tin panels and my daughter put it in the car. Then I ordered 2 more for my cars. Then he ordered another car for friends.

Doesn't break glass.

I'm a volunteer firefighter and some of my department use similar looking stamps as glass breakers to pull cars out. I received 2 packs and they preformed very differently. Although neither was good. They didn't always hit when I tried to use them and when they did hit it was very weak. I doubt they will work well for metal stamping either.

Don't forget to reset

They work very well. However, they only work on one try. If you try to use it again you won't get the right tension to create the indentation. What I do (perhaps not necessary on others) is slightly unscrew the bottom half and then retighten after each use. It seems to restart and it works fine. It's a lot easier than using a hammer. I recommend this product

Garbage. Keep checking out the mid shocks

These shocks suck, I hope I can say the same about Revain. Repeated click and function failures. Two are included with my order, both are just as bad. I took them apart and tried to figure out what was wrong but to no avail. Click and shot errors seem to be the order of the day with these shots, but this brand sets new standards of performance. Spend more and get more is my advice.

Push Center Punch

I just tried it to see how it works so I haven't used it in any project yet. I can see it will leave a pointed hole in anything you use it on to use as a starting point for drilling. I love how when you click on it after finding where you want to make a mark, the tip is steered to where you want that mark. Looks like it will be a useful tool in my shop.

They work, but not always.

Not one but two defective items right out of the box. Maybe the ones I have are those two mistakes in a million? Maybe I don't know how to use them? I've been dabbling in metalwork lately and am looking forward to adding a set of metal punches to my tools. Unfortunately, both hits randomly fail. They work, but not always. And I can't have an unreliable tool. Sorry for the long video. But it was necessary to recognize the problem. I know it's hard to tell when a tool will break due to metal…

Good product for the price paid.

The two hits I received missed about 20% of the time, right out of the bag. I was expecting this problem after watching YouTube videos of auto center punch failures, so I immediately took it apart and used a whetstone to polish the small end of the part inside the spring, as well as the punched weight with the hole holding it Pen picks up in the tip of the stamp. There are many videos on YouTube describing this procedure. The hammer drill now works perfectly. Very good hits for your money. From
