Ordered this for my 2012 SRT 300. When I first pulled it out, the end of the dipstick (the plastic part you pull) came loose from the dipstick. I had to pull the dipstick out with pliers only to find the other end had broken off in my oil pan. Now I have to remove the transmission pan to remove the broken off part. I strongly advise against buying this one.

The reason I bought it was to make sure my transmission wasn't running low on fluid I knew exactly what my gear was. was at the correct level then I used that dipstick and labeled it so I know where the full level is on that dipstick and if it's low without going through the liquid check process. (pain in the ass without checking dipstick) Get one, you won't regret it

I noticed that many of the negative "probes" who reviewed this product did not read what this tool is and what it is for. This is done to CHECK the transmission oil level on many types of transmissions. , NOT for permanent installation as a transmission dipstick. Now for the rating. It works great as advertised. The instructions are pretty short and dry. Accuracy seems legitimate. Easy to use. Happy with this purchase.

First of all I'm glad this dipstick exists. Thanks seller! There aren't many ways to check the transmission oil on these Chrysler products. The probe will hang in the pipe when you try to pull it out! The probe is always released with little effort. However, it's annoying. I'm afraid the plastic tip will fall off and stay in the bowl (as happened to another reviewer). I will be using this dipstick to regularly check the transmission fluid level on my 2014 Charger R/T. I will NOT keep this stick
