I have changed the transmission oil and my 2010 Honda CR-V and while there is no mention of changing this filter it is easy to get to, cheap and easy. to replace, so I replaced it at the same time. No problems yet, I've been using it for over a month now.

I received this item as a "return" from Revain. It was repackaged and still had the protective end caps to prevent the filter from getting dirty in storage. Well made, fits perfectly with the original filter I removed from a 14 year old Honda Odyssey. The replacement process is overly complicated due to the way Honda designed access (or rather no access) to the filter mounting clip.
