Looks Awesome - Taillights

God those taillights look great! They were easy to install. They dip slightly on the outside where they don't sit flush with the truck bed. But it's not noticeable, and you can expect it with aftermarket headlights. Definitely worth the money

Cons

4 months old and NOT HAPPY

Looks good, extra 1/4 pad so they do NOT sit too far in bed. For the price you can't beat them. UPDATE: They have been installed on my truck since early March. The lamps required melted the casing around the lamps. Not sure if I just bought a bad pair BUT those taillights weren't worth buying!

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Unreliable

Not for Chevy Silverado LS 8 foot bed

Oddly enough, the pear holes are ordinary holes with no bracket for a secure seal; The headlights look great out of the box but are too short, about 2 inches shorter and narrower than my original equipment, even though the description says "This fits your Chevy Silverado". . .Purchase delayed reinstallation due to damage; I'm afraid the next order will bring :o ((

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • confused

Get what you pay for.

About 6 months after I installed them, I lost both stop/turn light bulbs the day before I had to return to work. Going to San Francisco without electricity is not the best option. When I got to work I was busy replacing the bulbs and found that the red plastic around the bulbs on the 3157s had melted and killed them. Now I need new taillight housings and bulbs. This is a tricky pass if you really need a car.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Seniors

Good taillights but prepare for extra work

Pretty well done. The taillights look great. But my problem, like many others, is alignment. I have a '93 Suburban 1500 and had to insanely tweak and adjust the shims so they don't have gaps and fall behind the back. After all the adjustments they now fit better and look nice. Honestly it shouldn't be as difficult or wrong as it was, but it is what it is. We'll see how they hold up with wet fog inside, like a lot of those aftermarket headlights that struggle.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Something is wrong

You need to make some adjustments, but they work well.

I bought these for my 1995 Chevy pickup. They are very tight and had to be knocked to get into place. The metal clamps provided are a plus but the old clamps metal screws did not fit the new clamps and had to purchase new size 6 screws. Difficult to adjust the thread size, but it was achieved. The gray silicone balls on the back of the light assemblies were too large so they interfered with the old light harness assembly rubber grommets. So I used a small hand turning tool and a fiber wheel toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Terrible mounting design

I have tried many taillights for this body over the years as I often change my mind about the style. This is by far the worst I've ever had simply because I can't even install them. The overall package leaves a lot to be desired, but that's to be expected for the price. The kicker is a clamp in the form of compression nuts that contain screws. All other taillights I've used have a hole for this push nut to snap into. It holds the nut in the taillight so it can be installed. Instead, theseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Improved lamp looks great but misalignment

The tinted lens looks great and shines bright when the light is on. I used red LEDs for the brake lights, which made the little red lens inside the light more visible. At first I had lightbulbs, but they looked a little orange when on. I also used white LEDs for the reverse lights and they look bright. Just be prepared to install resistors or an upgraded relay or you might get a hyperflare. The only major issue I had was mounting the taillight as the taillight does not sit flush with the bodyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good price

  • Overhaul
