Terrible mounting design

I have tried many taillights for this body over the years as I often change my mind about the style. This is by far the worst I've ever had simply because I can't even install them. The overall package leaves a lot to be desired, but that's to be expected for the price. The kicker is a clamp in the form of compression nuts that contain screws. All other taillights I've used have a hole for this push nut to snap into. It holds the nut in the taillight so it can be installed. Instead, these taillights use a U-shaped hole that houses the compression nut. This makes it very easy to remove the pressure nut from the rear light. Even after screwing in the screws, a pull on the rear light housing is enough and they loosen immediately. It's a shame because the overall design is nice and the quality seems better than other options I've used in the past. I'm wondering if they were designed that way on purpose or if I had a bad batch of lights because I don't see how they could be installed if that's the intended design.

  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Exorbitant price
