Ideal for adding auxiliary switches to your vehicle.

In general I am very satisfied with this device. My biggest problem was routing the cable to the control box (truck problem, not auxbeam). The cable is long enough. I have a 2500HD and it is mounted in the front of the engine bay. I routed the control cable to the box on the steering wheel. I was shocked that the cord was sticking out. I love that it has a 12 volt battery so it only turns on when the truck is on. I used an extra fuse and turned off the headlights. When the truck is off the…

Cheaper alternative

I chose this cheaper alternative to the more expensive switch controllers. Works great for my needs. I was surprised by the quality of the case and cable connections at this price point. The keystroke feel is also good. Once installed, it looks like it should be there. A few things I would like to change: The weatherproof connectors are large so you will need to drill a bigger hole than I would prefer. But I like the screw connection, so choose your poison. Great product! - Multifunctional

Please note that I don't install this on most common cars. I didn't have much space to work and had to make a place to install it. I originally bought a box of 6 ties for $20. That was great, but I wasn't sure how much energy I was going to put into it. Everywhere I read offers to get a season. but heck, it's not easy to pocket your own if you don't know about them.
