Drills through carbide!

I needed to drill a hole in a piece of carbide. It was actually a 1/10 inch thick spare drill bit. It lasted a few minutes and passed. Only used one drill and it still looks good

Excellent bit for the price

Impressed! I've struggled with other bits on hard-paste porcelain tiles. I thought I would use a bit per hole but I did three with a bit and it still works. Excellent value for money and quality. I will buy again

Did a great job with porcelain stoneware in the shower

I needed to fit a handrail in my shower through existing porcelain stoneware tiles. One of these hollow drill bits made four holes easily and made nice smooth holes. They are more like a hole saw than a drill press. While drilling, I sprayed water on the drill bit every few seconds. I had a piece of 1/16" thick scrap aluminum with a 1/4" hole that I clamped onto the surface of the tile to use as a guide to prevent the bit from sliding across the surface of the tile . It only took a few seconds…
