Will not work on Toyota 2018

Will not work on Toyota Tundra 2018 I had to fabricate a muffler base plate out of Lexan. The base plate should be 3/8" thick. Then, using a large clamp, press the hitch into the receiver until the pin hole lines up to seat the pin. After that, everything was perfect with no rattling at all. If you're not a handyman, this muffler is not for you on a Toyota.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Clarity

Exactly what I was looking for!

I bought this muffler gasket to fill the gap between the hitch cover and the hitch receptacle and it fits perfectly. I bought 2 as I wasn't sure how long it would last but 1 filled the gap perfectly. The pad fits snugly over the clutch pocket, so the clutch cover doesn't move at all and doesn't rattle anymore. This is exactly what I was looking for. I will just keep the second pad as a spare in case I ever need it again.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not sure

It's not thick enough to stop the rattling.

This is a good seal, but it does not always stop knocking. The problem is that the clutch cover manufacturer wants to make a cover that fits all types of vehicles. So you have to put a gasket behind the clutch cover to stop the rattling and this gasket doesn't. Luckily I had a piece of UHMW which I cut out to fill in the open space to stop the rattling. This is nothing new, I had to add a shim to my latest clutch cover to stop the rattling.

Pros
  • Practical matter
Cons
  • Minor problems

Replacement parts worked as intended

This product is made of dense rubber. I used this pad in combination with my B&W Stow & Go clutch on a 2012 Ford F250. The fit is snug on the receiver and hitch. This pad has greatly reduced clutch rattle, but rattle can still occur when driving on rough roads. I was looking at a friend's GMC receiver and it seems to have a different "gap" between the hitch and the receiver. . It doesn't seem to work for its app, so I'd recommend checking your car's app before purchasing.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not fashionable

I had to adapt it to my needs, now it works great! I would buy again.

Very strong and durable rubber, it was too thick for my application so I had to use a power multi tool to cut it in half and now it fills the gap perfectly and holds everything in place. Some applications may need two of these, and some may not have the support to counter this. I see bad reviews for this, although in fact it won't suit you if you don't know what you're buying it for. Am I giving a bad review because I'm fat? NO. I found a way to get it working and now it's working great. It's…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Very expensive

Bad concept and waste of money. Buy a Maxxhaul clutch tensioner when

Loud clutch rattle is too annoying. The real problem is compressing the pad enough to eliminate the wobble that causes all the rattling noises. The pad is a very dense foam and it takes a lot of force to compress the pad and reinsert the locking pin. Without adequate compression of the pad, the hitch will still rattle, and it's likely that the foam will eventually adjust to the point that the hitch will start rattling again anyway. Sometimes I make silly purchases from Revain, luckily it wasn't

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not everything fits
