Damn good welding wire! Should have!

Unbelievable, hardly spatter, not very hot, just perfect welding rod, bought 2 spools of two pounds, will buy a few more, working on my iron fence behind the front and back of my house! I highly recommend this welding rod, I forgot to mention I was surprised that there was almost no smoke when welding, a big difference from any of the brands sold by Harbor Freight.

Expensive but good! about welding and soldering

Husband liked everything. except the PRICE. It was like $18 + tax. I didn't know how much they were supposed to cost. He said "order me a roll" which I did. Also, I didn't ask him how much it should cost. I even checked Revain for the cheapest ones. He almost fell over when he saw the email receipt. Also, we went to Harbor Freight that night and it was $5. Same size, same caliber. I've learned my lesson. But the product itself is great!

Great product and good price too!

Always used Hobart but this one is a little better! I have found that I get an excellent quality weld and spatter is around 50% of the Hobart scale. It's not that one is much better than the other or that it produces a stronger weld, it is that it produces a slightly cleaner weld and I also find it a bit easier to use. I will continue to buy and use Hobart as needed, but in my personal opinion this is a good choice. and I am very prejudiced against parts, tools and accessories that are made in…

Great cable at a great price! Works great in my Lincoln Handy Mig. Excellent

I got really lucky with this wire and ran almost 3 strands through my 110 Lincoln Handy Mig. It flows well, little slag (what's left is very easy to separate) and a reasonable price. I've only been welding for a few months but it seems to be doing a good job of removing the rust on my car. Welding mainly light steel from 16 to 20 gauge. I have already ordered the 4th roll and have another .030 roll which I received due to a delivery error. I can add them and see what the difference is.

Maybe just better at welding

Bought for a recent Forney welder. And I'm learning how to weld small projects. It seems to squirt a little more than the Lincoln brand I installed when that one was phased out. Maybe just get better at welding? I think both variants are possible. I like using an industrial product, but sometimes I need to switch to other brands (not just welders). The forney welder works great and my forney wire reference point is a bit weak as I'm a beginner. The wire worked perfectly, that means the welds…

Best after the bread slice

I'll tell you, I've been a fan of a certain style of welding for years. The wire that starts with an L and ends with an N used it for years thinking it was knees but this thing blows another brand into the water son. The best wire I've ever welded. Its clean welding with almost no BB removes slag from welds that are hot at low currents and penetrates materials very deeply. very similar to me and my old lady, but that's another story. This wire is unbeatable in price, quantity and quality. I got

WORKS GREAT in welders

I bought a HF 170 welder 3 years ago and modified it (you can find instructions on the web) to increase penetration and thickness that it can weld. I used Lowe's Lincoln cable for the first year as it is so much better than HF. The Lincoln cooked great but left a lot of splatters. Read the reviews and give it a try after the last Lincoln reel burned out. When I bought this wire 2 years ago my project was nearing completion (1/4 steel). Noticed an immediate improvement in spatter size and…

the best welding wire for me today!

I had to travel to do some welding work. We used this wire with a Harbor Freight welder, so I had a lot of reservations. One comment I read regarding flux cored wire was that other brands just didn't work well and that has always been my experience. Poor penetration and fluidity when welding. So after looking for the best cable I tried Inetub. I was surprised how the welder was able, the wire worked fine. The wire ran smoothly and that dispelled all my previous thoughts about shielded wire…
