Review on INETUB BA71TGS Gasless Flux Cored Welding Wire - .035-Inch, 2-Pound Spool, Carbon Steel by Gary Reed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

the best welding wire for me today!

I had to travel to do some welding work. We used this wire with a Harbor Freight welder, so I had a lot of reservations. One comment I read regarding flux cored wire was that other brands just didn't work well and that has always been my experience. Poor penetration and fluidity when welding. So after looking for the best cable I tried Inetub. I was surprised how the welder was able, the wire worked fine. The wire ran smoothly and that dispelled all my previous thoughts about shielded wire welding. Even with this welder, which only has a 20% duty cycle, I was able to weld up to 1/4" with very good penetration. My job was a thin bent metal tube welded to 16ga steel. A good weld that never been able to achieve before. One pass and done. Well, absolutely no doubt. Wire is just as important as wire speed, heat range, experience and surface finish. All new wire for my little MIG welder at home and getting rid of all the other wires as it impressed me.I normally weld steel with a mix of Argon and CO2.140(?) For areas where a larger welder can't reach. Not at all an expert but I have been MIG and TIG welding aluminum for almost 16 years , steel and various grades of stainless steel For something to make the process a lot easier, it's worth its weight in gold.
