These skid plates were as strong as the originals. While I didn't actually need to replace the originals, I figured I'd just do it if I took the rear axle and parking brake assembly apart to replace them. An excellent replacement for those living in rust-prone areas such as the Northeastern United States.

I recently purchased a 2005 F350 Super Duty and when doing a brake repair I found that the dust cover was missing on one side and was about to disappear on the other. The price was my main motive for buying them from the seller, but the quality was as good as 2-3x the OEM price. I'm from Buffalo, NY. I bought these Gagsu rear brake skids, dust skids 924-212 for my F250 2006 Superduty. My original OEMs rotted in 7 years in 2013 and failed inspection due to parking brake mating with the plates. I replaced 2013 aftermarket plates for $50 ($200). I didn't do anything to the aftermarket skid plates, just installed them. Already looking forward to May 2021. The aftermarket plates rotted and after 7 years we were gone (again just like the OEM).
