Good quality, does not affect the camera image.

I was a little worried about using an extension cord which would affect the picture quality but it didn't. I recommend this extension for your mirror/camera if you have a truck or van so you can tuck the cable throughout the cab without running out of wire and you can mount a backup camera on the rear bumper.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Look before you jump!

I bought a dash cam and backup camera because I knew they were for cars. Knowing that installing my van would require more wiring than installing a car, I figured I would have to do a lot of cutting and splicing to get to the back of my van. But on a whim I checked out the Revain and found this 4 pin extension and 16.5 feet of the right cable. Went like clockwork!

See how to secure your car.

Received as a gift. I read the reviews and ordered an extension cord before installing which turned out to be too much for me. Instead of running the wire along the floor panel and underside of the door, I routed it along the top of the door and through the headliner. That worked great for me. I had more than enough cables in the box. it works like this

  • Cool product

  • Vulgarity

Cable extensions for the reversing camera.

I bought this and the 6.5ft section so I can put a backup camera on my RV so I can see what's behind me when I'm driving. I was a little worried that too many options would make the Ithaca picture less reliable, but the picture was perfect and the flimsy cable was easy to hide under the RV. The cable fits snugly with the camera cable and is designed to make towing the RV safer.

Pros
  • Excellent overall specifications
Cons
  • Negative included

Great product: car electronics

Exactly what I was looking for. It's hard to find exactly what I need, but here it is. I used it for a togaurd 10 inch rear camera. I installed an additional camera on my motorhome. Ran two of them to a break on my hitch. So I plug it in when I connect the trailer to the standard cable supplied by togaurd. I have a standard extra cable that runs along the length of the tailgate cam, so all I have to do is unplug the mini jack on the mirror, then plug in the extra jack and, viola, my rear view…

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Slim 4 pin extension cable that works well with Clarion backup cameras

This extension allowed me to install a backup camera on my nΓΌCamp T@B camper from my Sony CarPlay head unit. My main unit allows 3 cameras. By default I use the backup camera on my tractor and I use the second camera to provide a rear view when I have a trailer. The cameras used are Clarion CC520. Although one of the two cables ordered was defective, the one 4-pin cable works perfectly and I was able to return the defective cable without any problems.

Pros
  • Excellent value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
