Bahco 7224 - Wedge Pliers

I bought these out of curiosity. They feel well made and have very tight joints with little wobble. The handles are comfortable. The head is a bit large and therefore does not fit in tight spaces. Overall they're not bad, but I think I'll stick with Knipex.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

not the worst but not as good as my knipex

the reason i bought these is because the jaw capacity is way bigger than anything else and thats all it has, the build quality is not the worst, but for the price there is much better, the handle is not close to my knipex, it doesn't bite that well, it just rips the surface of the pipes while the knipex bites and gets stuck in it, they just slip off, when you put your weight on it

Pros
  • pliers
Cons
  • slightly wrinkled

Top professional quality for pliers

They are comparable to Knipex Cobras in every respect. It has a fine-tooth mechanism, allowing for precise adjustments. It has a small lever to open the jaws, unlike the knob on the Knipex. Very easy to use - maybe even a little easier in tight spaces. Unlike standard Cobras, these Bahco pliers allow you to simply close the jaws instead of pushing a button. Like the Cobra, they snap into place and release with a slight flick of the bottom handle. As with the Knipex, the jaws are well hardened…

Pros
  • Slip pliers
Cons
  • I don't remember
