I bake bread every week. Of course, the cutting process was gutted, so I bought this. I'm not impressed at all! It looks easy on the video, but it is NOT. Slice the bread the old-fashioned way.

knife is too short. It's not that easy to use as the first few slices are a bit thin and the last few slices are too thick. You can swap the ends, but that doesn't work very well. The best feature is that it catches most of the crumbs

This is great! It is very easy to clean and fold. On-site guides. However, the knife is actually not long enough, even though bread knives "should" be cheap. I HATE cheap knives. So I used one of mine. Definitely recommend this article to anyone who bakes their own bread and is tired of the occasional mess of slicing. Works with both soft and hard crusts.

I really feel like I got value for money with this bread slicer. It takes some getting used to. The knife seen in the photo is too short to cut bread, but I was surprised to see another quality bread knife included that was definitely long enough. You must have realized that the knife in the photo is useless. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Four wooden parts: knife, solid base, stand and moving back plate. Unfold the stand, slide the back plate into the slot for the desired depth of cut and remove the blade from its magnet. The included knife is a bit rough, I replaced it with my bread knife and use the included carving knife instead.
