Insanely thin, but insanely soft!

This yarn is like thread - I doubled it up to use size 2 needles and knit the softest and most beautiful baby clothes. I ordered more to make socks but I know they are very thin. Although the feeling is AMAZING. Blowing out of the water another baby yarn I have.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Very nice yarn, one or two uneven spots.

I used it to crochet a very large rectangular lace scarf. It takes some getting used to the smoothness of bamboo, as the chains tighten very quickly if you don't work with them loosely. I liked the yarn with one exception - each skein had a broken layer or thick part where I had to cut it off and start over. Not a bad figure for such a large amount of footage, but that's an issue of great concern to Spitze.

Pros
  • Like all previous ones
Cons
  • Update available

Good. Very soft to knit. Voltage 8 on my car.

I love this yarn. I bought this as scrap yarn to use while learning how to use my new electronic knitting machine. The yarn is very soft and I like that it's not shiny. I will buy more. Tension 8 on my 4.5mm knitting machine. It also seems to have a good drape, so I'll have to check its weave as well. Be careful when using the curler, it tangles easily - not as much as alpaca lace, but close. Love it. I'll be back!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Rosette required

This is my first time using bamboo yarn.

This yarn is very, VERY soft and feels great! For the most part, it was a dream job. I added small crystal beads to the pattern using a bead hook. This took some practice as the yarn is so soft it can easily catch on the needle if you're not careful. The main reason I only gave it 4 stars was that in a couple of places (enough to be upset) one of the three strands of yarn was snapped or broken. This required splicing the yarn to avoid a weak point in the knit. Otherwise I recommend!

Pros
  • One year sample
Cons
  • Available in white only

Very pretty. Exactly like in the photo.

This yarn is very fine and delicate. I like it very, very much. I didn't expect it to be so light when I ordered it. I find it difficult to knit the shawl I'm knitting because I can barely feel the yarn between my fingers. I think it will be the most beautiful lace scarf. and I look forward to the end product. The color matches what I saw on my computer screen. I will buy more yarns of this type. Warning, the label says do not iron. So if you like to fix your products with an iron, then you…

Nice yarn but difficult to work with

nice soft yarn. This is a much thinner yarn than I was expecting, so instead of attaching the yellow stripe to my shawl to crochet the edges as I had planned, I saved this yarn. I knitted a pattern out of it on a #0 needle and it turned out to be a very thin fabric with a density of 10 stitches per inch. Knitting is not convenient because the yarn is constantly diverging. I crochet the pattern using a size 7 steel needle. For the edge of my shawl I use two threads sewn together into one. And…
