Looks different than Bando's Toyota belt

This belt was purchased for my 2007 Highlander Limited power steering. As you can see in the pictures below it looks different than the belt made by Bando specifically for Toyota part number 90080-9 1088-83. If you compare the front and back of the two belts, they appear to be made of different materials. I change the belt because it squeaks when I start the car. I'll install it and report back in a month or two.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Minor repairability

This is a cheap, poor quality aftermarket product.

I don't like writing bad reviews, but it's important for everyone to know if something is really bad what it is. It's cheap rubber, thinner than the original, so it won't fit. If so, it won't last long, but I can't say for sure because mine never worked because it kept slipping off. What's worse, I have to pay to get it back. To be honest I will avoid shopping here due to the return policy. Why should I pay to return an item I don't need?

correct A/C compressor drive belt for 2007 Subaru Outback

This belt was the correct A/C compressor position for my 2007 Subaru Outback station wagon 2.5 liter SOHC engine. The size, width and pattern of the groove are the same. The ones he replaced on the belt he walked easily, and he did his job for several months and several thousand miles. While I can't say one brand is better than another, I have used Bando brand belts in the past with no problems. They're made in the USA and you can't beat Revain's prices. All you have to do is do your research…

PERFECT FIT - 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE

I had to replace the power steering belt on my Nissan Sentra 02 as my car was squeaking and difficult to turn. I knew the belt hadn't been changed in a long time, so I decided that was the reason. Luckily I did this because the old belt was in bad shape! This belt fitted perfectly and was very close to the original. Although the belt is incredibly difficult to access and install in my particular car, the belt itself fits great and my steering is smooth and quiet again! Since my car uses a…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Compatibility

Correct length and fits my 2007 AC Yaris Sedan. The groove patterns don't quite match the engine pulleys unlike the original belt, but the engine doesn't seem to care. Works great for now. The engine now starts better without squeaking. hope it lasts 3 Months Update: After 2 weeks of break-in, the belt squeaked again from slight stretching as the groove pattern fitted and matched the pulley grooves perfectly. So I adjusted the tension and it turned out to be very reliable and didn't creak. No…

2002 Sentra GXE - Belt

Easy installation on 2002 Sentra GXE. - Loosen the belt tensioner (long bolt with 12mm nut) as well as the bolt that tightens the tensioner in place (you don't have to loosen too much, just a few turns) - Loosen the tensioner bolt as much as possible* *** unscrew them by 1.5-2 inches and you don't have to reach under the car or deep into the engine compartment to loosen other bolts on the power steering pump. Once the stem is loose enough, you can rock the power steering pump forward while…

Replacement of the original engine accessory drive belt in the Toyota Yaris.

This belt fits my 2007 Yaris perfectly and looks exactly like the original belt, even with the print on the belt. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it makes a lot of noise, especially when the air conditioning compressor kicks in. I checked the belt tension, everything seems fine. However, I'm not a professional mechanic, so I can't be sure if the squeak is due to a fault in the belt material or if I installed it too loose or too tight. The screeching lasts a few seconds and then stops…
