Does not fit my 2007 CR-V

This serpentine belt, 7PK1755 does not fit my 2007 Honda CR-V. This is the correct length, but due to its fibrous structure and shallow grooves, it will not fit into the deep grooves of the pulleys and hence its effective length will be too short. Serpentine belts have at least two different groove designs. My CR-V requires a different design with sharp deep V grooves and ridges. I installed a Continental belt 4070690 which has the correct groove design. It fits snugly and is easy to assemble…

  • Handsfree

2006 Honda CR-V EX - Belt

A squeaky belt is perhaps the greatest detriment to a car's perceived value that I can think of. My 2006 CR-V had one that let everyone in the parking lot know I had a car that was on its last legs. I got this pup in there in about 20 minutes (it fits fine but removing the passenger wheel makes it easier) and it sounds and spins around those pulleys like a new belt. Here's a tip for working with the spanner. Pulley: Place a 14mm box end wrench on it, then insert a 1/2" socket or breaker into…

Perfect fit for our 2005 Toyota Camry 2.4L

This belt was perfect for our 2005 Toyota Camry 2.4L. We installed this belt in conjunction with a water pump replacement on this 173,000 mile vehicle. This is the second belt change on this vehicle. I don't think there is an easy way to replace this strap. The first time I changed this belt (about 75,000 miles) it took over 2 hours. This time, with the help of three people, we changed the belt in about 45 minutes. The tube helps, but the design (space and use of a 1/2 drive with a 19mm bushing

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

  • Good but not great

Right Belt for Honda Accord 2.4L 2011

Stretchy, durable, easy to fit? I don't understand how these are the parameters for the poly v belt check. Tension is a non-stretch belt, it may stretch a bit over time, but that's what the auto-tensioner is for. Durability - who knows at this point, my original belt was there 9 years and I replaced it as preventative maintenance. If this belt lasts another 9 years I'll be happy. And finally, the ease of assembly is not quite right, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the manufacture of…

OEM Bando vs Bando Aftermarket

Great product and price. It replaced the factory Bando strap and the quality is just as good but slightly different from the OEM Bando Honda strap. The OEM belt appears to have a stiffer, cloth-like woven outer shell, while the included Revain has a shiny rubber outer shell. The OEM Bando also has internal grooves, the OEM strap has rubber grooves, while the included Revain has a felt texture that seems to work well and reduces noise. ***BOTH of those differences I mentioned are probably just…

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Doubtful

Good buy at belt

I replaced my old 2007 Honda Accord SE 4 cylinder belt with this one. but it works without problems. My tip for the do-it-yourselfer: Please buy a special tool for this (I got myself a Grearwrench Serpentine Belt Tool) and the belt change went smoothly. I used to waste my time and energy with various wrenches, extension cords, outlet breakers, etc. but I couldn't change the belt. but with the help of a special tool, the replacement was very easy and went smoothly. I plan to replace the belt…
