Description of ๐Ÿ”ฅ Enhanced Hotend for Creality Ender 3 Printers

Fast Heat Dissipation - No need of bowden tube, filaments directly pass through the smooth inner wall of aluminum heatsink, which allows for faster heat dissipation. Efficient Heat-blocking - Heat break is made of Titanium Alloy, providing much better thermal isolation than normal stainless steel printer throat. High Precision - Due to quality-first production process, the heatsink, heater block and nozzle could offer smooth inner wall and precise connection. No blockage - Because of the advanced heatsink and heat break, the probability of the filament blocking the hotend is greatly reduced. Applicable Model - Creality CR-10, CR-10S, CR-10 S4, CR-10 Mini, CR-10 S5, CR-20, CR-20 Pro, Ender-2, Ender-3, Ender-3 Pro, Ender-5, TronXY X5S, Tevo Tornado.

Impressive hotend kit

This hotend is supplied as a kit without instructions. Even without instructions I just looked at my stock hotend on my Ender 3 and assembled everything in a similar way. After installing the parts into my printer, I cut the PTFE tubing to remove the part that went to the standard thermal break (I use a direct drive extruder, the Bowden tubing would not need to be cut with a standard extruder). On first heat up, I noticed that it reaches printing temperature quicker than a standard hot endโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fast heat dissipation. No Bowden tube is required, the filaments run straight through the smooth inner wall of the aluminum heatsink for faster heat dissipation.
Cons
  • So far so good

Ender E3V2 with Satsana Air Duct

I decided not to buy MicroSwiss and try this version first. I had a bad clog and burned the ibex on my E3V2 and figured a new hot end would be better than reusing the stock setup. This block is significantly shorter than the stock hot end. I'm lucky that the Satsana channel I'm currently using barely works with this hot end. The channels blow neatly onto the thread/model, but now they're just a hair above the nozzle. Time will tell if I can continue to use this particular channel setup, but the

Pros
  • No Blocking - Thanks to the improved heatsink and thermal break, the chance of the hot end being blocked by filament is greatly reduced.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Approx. 2mm shorter than

In order to use this hot end kit, the bed and possibly the end stops must be adjusted. For systems with ABL sensors, e.g. B. inductive/capacitive, this probably isn't a big deal, just slide it up or down the required distance. The cable tie method is probably a good way to reconfigure the sensor. With BL touch sensors, it's not that simple. If the mounting bracket cannot be moved up or down, you will need to design and print a new bracket. Otherwise the sensor will trigger too early resultingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High Precision - Thanks to the quality-oriented manufacturing process, the radiator, heater block and nozzle can have smooth inner wall and precise connection.
Cons
  • Out of fashion
