Good idea but had to be emptied every 48 hours! The tub didn't drain even though it was clean. It's flexible and the chrome-plated top is easy to push down and close the tub with little effort if you don't want to close it.

I am disappointed with this tool. Really good at catching hair. However, this slows down the flow of water and allows the soapy water to rise. Then when you shower, the cork slides down and seals off all the water. I had to wrap a rubber band around the neck of the stopper to keep it in place.

The plug closes almost too easily. Shower spray can cause it to turn off, but if you have a separate tub and shower, that's great. Due to the hair filtering, the bath does not drain as quickly. This part grips the hair well and is easy to clean. Much better than cleaning pipes, which is really annoying.

If you shower and have long hair, this product is for you. But it doesn't stop the water as written. If you want to take a bath you must have a different plug. I only gave it two stars because it didn't keep its promise to stop the water. But it definitely catches your hair when you shower.

I got this because not only does it keep hair from going down the drain but it also stops the bath so you can still take a bath without turning off the appliances or yourself Worrying about what the hair is going to go down the drain in the time it takes it to return to another hair trap. Easy to clean and fairly durable, even if it's not. I'm glad I bought this item.

A critical design flaw is the lack of a mechanism to hold the chrome lid up to allow the water hole to remain open and allow water to drain. I got this because not only does it stop hair from running down the drain, it also stops the bath so you take a bath without having to unplug appliances and worry about hair falling down the drain in the time it takes to return to another hair catcher. Easy to clean and fairly durable, even if it's not. I'm glad I bought this item.

I've tried several ways to keep my wife's and daughter's hair from clogging the drain. None of them worked perfectly. We have a pop-up drain that severely limits our options.
