Worked great 2019 F250 Lariat 6.7L

Along with the Forscan I turned off the annoying horn when exiting a running car with the key in my pocket. Also turned off the seat belt horn.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Working Speed

Doesn't work with AlfaOBD

2012 Chrysler 200 says it works with AlfaOBD but it doesn't work. Tried to email the company but they never responded. brought it back

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Modernity

Engine malfunction

When I plug this into my OBDIi port 2016vF250s my truck won't start. There are no error messages on the Dash. Parked and the car started and ran fine.

Buy this if you own or work on a modern Ford vehicle.

. The only notable difference is that this much cheaper version comes with a carrying case which makes tracking easier compared to the OBD Link MX which comes without a carrying case.

Pros
  • . Lots of good vibes.
Cons
  • . Quality.

Worked great with Forscan and my 2018 F150

bbfly GX Bluetooth can access the Medium Speed CAN bus (MS CAN) on Ford vehicles and the Single Wire CAN bus (SW CAN ) on vehicles GM without having to wind up the switch. It gets access to all the control modules I need.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Might choose the newer model

Helped me unlock the features on my 2016 F-150!

I bought this to change the background on my sync 3 and also enable remote window up/down (there's a better name for it but it escapes me lol)! I also have climate control and seat temperature settings enabled on my Sync 3. It can do other things too. A very useful tool! I can use it in my wife's 2015 escape to unlock some features!

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Useless features

Excellent cheap Bluetooth OBDII adapter for Forscan or other applications

Finally. Inexpensive Bluetooth OBDII that works as advertised. Combined with the Forscan Lite app, it shows more data on more systems than I thought I would with my 2009 Fusion. For $36 for the adapter and app, you get a very powerful troubleshooting tool. A Bluetooth pairing button and instructions made setup easy. It also worked with another Car Scanner app but the data wasn't as accurate as the Forscan app. Can't wait to try this on my other vehicles.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • So-so

It may be good, but unfortunately it fails at the most basic tasks.

Works well with Chevy, haven't had a chance to try on a Ford but unless you play around with it a lot it will absolutely not connect to FCA cars, trucks etc. This adapter has a quite a lot of potential, it's equipped with the latest ICs needed for simultaneous communication on multiple buses, and reading the datasheet gives me confidence that it can be as good as obdlink mx or pretty close. However, without developer support for any of the core applications without custom coding, this…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here
