High quality wood is great for carving!

That's a box with a thousand possibilities! This is literally a really high quality wood that is very easy to carve. I've bought other kits from Revain that just didn't work as advertised. They're all knotless and you won't get to the middle of the thread to find the area that's ruining it. I love every BeaverCraft purchase I've ever made. This company specializes in woodcarving tools and sells wood to attract carvers, young or experienced. If you are looking for a gift I would suggest this…

Very easy and fun to carve

I have been carving spoons from raw wood for a long time, I wanted to get a stronger and lighter wood for carving figures. This basswood is one of the best woods and the easiest to cut, the wood is very easy to cut with different grain orientations. My only advice is if you like hardwood carving, reduce the pressure on the wood as basswood is very easy to carve and a lot of fun. Like tools, Beavercraft sells very good and inexpensive wood. The Beavercraft BW16 is definitely worth it. Buy it!

I love Beavercraft Fake Blocks! I took a photo to show how much wood you actually get in these sets. There were tiny marks on 2 pieces but I use them for cutting so I'll just make sure I cut out those spots. I was actually lucky enough to win this set of basswood blocks.
