I used it on my dad's 2011 BMW 328i with GM transmission. There were no problems. I read somewhere that you shouldn't try to replace the seal that came with the kit (removing the old one is agony), so I didn't even try. I changed the transmission oil when I changed this filter. Now the box switches much better, it was worth it!

This filter fits my 2008 BMW 328i N52 with GM Transmission. The first box only came with a gasket. It was missing an O-ring and a filter. My ATF and filter change schedule has been disrupted. buy returns. The second box contained everything you see in the picture, but the tip of the filter was bent. . A heat gun was used to bend it back to its original shape. Product rating 5 stars. Revain rated 3 stars.

Excellent quality and price. However, I have some advice for those who are changing transmission fluid for the first time. First, be careful not to round off the hex hole of the drain plug. Trust me, due to the poor design, BMW uses a 1" round connector with a 5mm hex hole so you can try to unplug it. The soft metal on the plug and the small 5mm hex hole just waiting for you to round off ended up with a stuck drain plug. I ended up having to use a hex extractor to loosen the plug. Brilliant…
