Great product and quick delivery

This sensor worked very well. We just hooked it up to others bought here and my car started right away. Cheaper than Auto Zone or O'Riely at half price and 2nd day shipping as a Prime member.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Out of style

qualitative! - Camshaft position

Complete nonsense! I had my mechanic install them on my 2005 Nissan Frontier and I still had the stuttering. Since the camshaft sensors were clearly new, we decided to replace the fuel pump and the stuttering continued. We replaced the camshaft sensors with genuine Nissan parts and the truck runs perfectly! Don't waste your time or money.

The replaceable cam position sensor works as expected. Turned off .

Replacement camshaft sensor works as expected. Reset the error code on the Frontier 2010 daughter. The swap was a bit tricky as I'm short and had to lay across the engine on a 1x12 board to get to the valve cover. Make sure you have a 10mm flat socket as this will make removing the locking bolt much easier.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Exchange possible

MARK - failed in one day!

Stay away from these cheap ocean sensors. I recently installed three (cam1, cam2, crank) of these sensors in my wife's 2003 Altima. The very first day she started the car after installation, the Cam1 sensor failed leaving her stuck! Do yourself a huge favor and invest in Nissan OEM parts. The additional cost can save you an expensive towing bill and another hour of sensor replacement.

  • Free for educational purposes

I just want to help you fix your VQ35DE engine, take this one!

I was so afraid my Infiniti FX35 needed something expensive to repair when the engine died on the track for the first time after reading the Service Engine. I soon found out that code P0345 was the one behind my SES lightbulb so I read that the camshaft sensor bank 2 was bad so I bought that one and it solved the problem! Now my FX35 VQ35DE works better than before! no SES and my engine has not stalled since I replaced the sensor, I am very happy with the product!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in white

Works great for about a week

Works great for about a week. It used to have problems starting and once stalled while driving. Will update if there are issues, but so far so good. Youtube and Amazon saved me about $150-$200. I wouldn't say it's too hard to replace, but it can be tricky for a newbie like me. However, if you have a soft spot for mechanics, you will most likely get by with it. Once you've removed the throttle body, it's as simple as loosening a screw, removing the sensor, and putting in a new one. Then…

Fast exchange and works.

The mechanic I bought my tracker from had to replace this sensor a few years ago so the block he put in there only lasted so long. This block looks identical except that the metal bolt's reinforcing ring is gold instead of silver. Based on this detail, I suspect that it is a different manufacturer. Hopefully this one will last longer but for now the car started straight away and the dashboard glitches went away as soon as I replaced this. Keep in mind that if your car looks like mine (2006…

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Very expensive

Repairs a poorly made Nissan OEM part.

This fixes a hard/long start and also prevents my xterra from stopping randomly. I warn you, this is very difficult to achieve. Use the blanket, just lay on top of the engine and use both hands to pull this bastard out from behind the engine. I used the article and photos from xterraclub and it took about 30 minutes per page. Given all the reports of stalled cars, GM, Ford, VW in recent months. This probably should have been a review but wasn't (it could have a TSB on it but not a review). I…
