False advertising Suitable for replacement parts

Will not fit 2002 325ci as advertised. If you don't want to use cross threads, spend your money on an OEM part from a reputable dealer. Huge waste of time and money.

Pros
  • Quality construction for durability
Cons
  • No performance

No OEM specification. Barely too big for 200654.

Finally after twisting the cap I made it bite and started tightening it and it got really tight and hard to go on and wanted to take it off and it broke the fuck just like the original . DON'T WASTE TIME ON THIS!

Pros
  • Same form, fit and function as the original
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Hard heavy plastic like Original BMW parts

The original oil filter cap had an invisible hairline crack around the plastic hex nut which was clearly a leak. Of several equivalent replacement parts, this one didn't have the "shiny" appearance of lightweight plastic. Arrived and looks like this - good heavy ABS plastic, same as original. The only downside was that the plastic threads inside were *very* tight and crossed the threads very easily. After several cross threading attempts, I cleaned the threads with a wire brush and oiled them…

Pros
  • Specific use for this vehicle
Cons
  • Not sure
