Fantastic ladders upon ladders

Double the ladder and almost double the weight. I don't see any cons but you need to know before you buy. I would buy this product again. It arrived on time and I get a lot of positive feedback on this great product.

Perfect for our camper!

This ladder is extremely durable, my cautious 250+lb husband agrees! We just bought an RV with no ladder in the back so we bought this ladder to get to the top of the house and pull out the awning. It works perfectly and we love it!

Small but only useful when fully extended

The only positive is that it shrinks into a small footprint. The major downside is that the steps only lock in the extended position, which means that if you only want to extend half of the steps and make it a 4 foot ladder, the other steps will extend when you move the last one. The velcro that holds it together in its smallest position stopped working even after 5 uses. I'm going to get some of my own belts to see if I can get them to work for me.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So far so good

Heavy, unstable, compact

I bought this ladder for my electrical projects. At first I really wanted to return it, but it's very compact - I can put it in the trunk of a car. It weighs about 37 pounds and sometimes has to be carried half a mile. Opt for a small cart. It's weak, but I've gotten used to it and don't even pay attention to it. Worst of all, the tether doesn't hold itself out of it in less than a month of use. I have another belt with a clip.

Good ladder, take your time raising and lowering

Compact and easy to maintain, as I had hoped. Using the ladder in the straight/extended position was a little tricky. I used it to hang Christmas lights. I think as you learn the best methods of lifting and lowering it will get easier. One day it actually looked like it would pop right out, so I lowered it and tried again to get the extension to snap into place. Was very strong and held my weight, 300, on a gravel court. Let's see what happens when I turn off the light.

Almost Died - Building Materials

If you are looking for a quick death this is definitely not the best choice, although of course it has all the necessary properties you will most likely be maimed or seriously injured. This is a very bad design bad hinge and can't hold up even the average person let's not talk about maneuverability as it's one of the worst pieces of gear I've come across. The velcro does not prevent the ladder from opening so it has to be carried almost huggable. Just a very bad product overall not recommended

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions

The ladder appears solid and works well as a frame ladder but cannot be used in a partial extension. Feels a little heavier than I expected. Must be fully extended or it will become unstable. Does not lock in the closed position which seems dangerous to carry or move unless lying on its side. It is held in the closed position with a Velcro strap. Doesn't feel safe like an extension ladder. If I could have personally tested it beforehand, I probably wouldn't have gotten it.

Dangerous - Revain should be retired

I'd put zero if I could. They are insanely heavy, I had the non-swivel version and it was light and perfect until someone decided they needed them more than me when I had them on my truck. As per other reviews (which should have caught my eye as usual) the hinges are underpowered. I'm 200 pounds and don't have any tools and I went up the middle loop and started leaning against the wall. I didn't go any further as it looked like he was about to fold. The velcro does not hold the crossbars. As…
