Reminds me of waffles from a student canteen.

Made 2 waffles with this so far. So I'll come back and edit my review if I change my mind on this. I like the waffle iron. It reminds me of the ones in the cafeteria when I was in college. It says turn on the waffle iron on setting 7 to warm up. The number 7 isn't there -_- So I just turn it to any number for a few minutes and spray vegetable oil on it. After about 5 minutes I add the pancake mix and after 2 minutes I have beautiful golden waffles. Literally!

First BEST!

AS Advertised. It lasted several minutes. to figure out the settings, liked the beep when it's hot enough to use the batter, it was spot on, didn't spill. I have made beautiful golden waffles, I was totally blown away by the ease of use the first time I had one. Cleaning was easy, wipe down with some vegetable oil, store upright and reuse. Amazing waffles on a waffle maker

After a curve of adapting to a new product, it's AMAZING. Delicious giant waffles. I wanted a VillaWare waffle maker, but it's the same product with a different name. I agree the audio is a bit odd but I don't miss it. I have celiac disease. Tips: Use LOTS of non-stick spray. A LOT OF. If you're having trouble getting the waffles out in pieces, you'll need more spray. Works great, but the audio can annoy most people. I have a solution for this.

This is a reliable waffle maker that works great. However, the sound is very loud and cannot be turned off without modification. You can either plug it in or just cut the blue and yellow wires that connect to the circuit board where the beeper is attached. Simply loosen a screw on the bottom of the waffle maker through which the sound signal goes.
