Everything you need in a Power Splitter

Bought to install Man-Cave. Power your computer, monitor, PS4, modem, router, PC speakers and more. Bought another to replace another extension in the house and will buy again for other rooms if needed.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Installed on day of arrival and working without problems. The real test, of course, is whether it works in thunderstorms. And it would be impossible for me to determine. But so far it seems to be working. I only protect my computer, but that includes the monitor and printer. Looks good and I like the 4000J.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Updates

Good surge protector for my home computer system

I needed a good surge protector for my new computer, two monitors and other office equipment. This Belkin model met all my needs and was the right price. It features 4000J surge protection, EMI and RFI protection. The 8-foot cord is the perfect length for me, and the 12 outlets, including 6 spaced outlets, accommodate all the adapters I needed to connect. I would recommend it.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Extremely reliable, high quality

I've had one of these Belkin extenders for about 10 years and they still work great. I bought a new one just for the new computer station in my house. There are more than enough outlets to plug in all of my computing gear, and the built-in cable management arms really prevent plug cords from being accidentally pulled from outlets. Definitely a good buy and a brand you can trust.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Worth every penny, best in accessories and consumables

This is the best price I've found. I recommend this surge protector to protect your internet, computer or TV. Julie is exactly what a true technician should recommend you to do. If you read the box they let you know that they have insurance and coverage up to 100,000 which I thought was great because that usually means they support this product and you can trust the product. If you go to the store you pay a lot more. Item arrived within 2 days of delivery with no damage

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Bought about two months ago. Everything seemed to be working great until I tried the ethernet connection for the first time a few weeks ago. My network connection keeps going on and off when connected through this extension cable. And now it's too late to go back. Also, read a lot about Belkin having a habit of not honoring connected equipment warranties no matter the circumstances. I regret buying this and might just replace it with a Tipp Lite or something.

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
  • Some small things

Good Features and Price

I bought several of these primarily based on a combination of features, reviews and price. I think it's a very good price and pretty decent protection. This unit has plenty of outlets for 120V applications, as well as outlets for phone and standard cable TV, so it covers the bases well. This Belkin model features standard surge protection, which uses an electronic component to short or "clamp" the voltage higher than expected, and a low-pass filter to clean up the power line. While it is true…

Pros
  • Power Strips and Surge Protector
Cons
  • Expensive
