The right device to protect expensive equipment

Made in the Philippines. Maximum load current 10A If you want to de-energize the equipment, it is not necessary to pull the plug out of the filter (or the filter itself from the outlet). There is a big button for this. There are two indicators nearby - the filter status indicator and the ground indicator. The thermal fuse is located on the left side. It is bimetallic, and when overloaded, it turns off the power. Restored by simply clicking on it. The filter housing can be attached to the wall…

Pros
  • Quality workmanship, 5 outlets, 1 outlet for connecting a large power supply, On / Off button, Indication, Bimetal fuse, Swivel power cable, Holes for wall mounting
Cons
  • Waste wire holder

USB power far below advertised

Two self-powered USB ports do not deliver advertised 2.4A/12W power. The device I received delivers 1 AMP/5W for both USB ports together and I tested it with the Battery Pro app. If the device is powered by one USB port, the second USB port will not supply power due to the low power of this device. Either this is false advertising or I have outdated hardware. The second small issue I had with this unit is that the outlets are too close together, so any wider AC adapter will cover an adjacent…

A classic Belkin disappointment.

The USB outputs are not what is advertised here and the outputs are very close together. So if your plugs are wide, they won't match. looks good but false advertising of USB outputs is very disappointing. Belkin occasionally makes good products like the Belkin BE112230-08 12 Outlet Surge Protector, this is definitely NOT one of them. Joule with USB charging ports, the cheaper SurgeArrest Wall Mount (P6WU2) has a better USB output and the plugs are separated.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Hard to say

One has to wonder if they'll be overloaded by the people who burn them. For example, a heater for a small room. ok, I'll let Consumer Reports tell you > The electric heaters tested by Consumer Reports use 1500 watts for full power. With an output bandwidth of 1800W of maximum power, which is typical for a 15 amp device, this means you can only connect a limited number of additional devices, hopefully using very little power when you do so. I used a slightly cheaper model of this version from

Pros

Removal of extension cords and surge protection

This is the third item I have bought and the production level has dropped a lot. I bought the first two over a year ago and they have been solid. I bought it a week ago and it arrived in a deformed box. Deformed because whoever assembled it decided the on/off switch shouldn't sit directly on the plastic body and then just tried to screw it together by bending the plastic body and "sort of" putting the switch there left. So sent. Apparently nobody checked. Revain was cool and sent me a…

Pros
  • Powerpanel with telephone line protection: Equipped with telephone or fax protection 1 input 2 RJ11 outputs to ensure open and uninterrupted telephone line connections. It also provides coaxial cable protection to protect the cable box and satellite connections. The durable housing protects the circuit from fire, shock and rust.

We lost all our connected devices

Most of our main electronics were plugged into this surge protector when we were struck by lightning. It was of no use. We lost our 50 inch TV, Nintendo Switch and surround sound stereo. An electrician who came to fix other lightning damage said those surge protectors were useless. Obviously he's right. We read about the $300,000 Belkin. Warranty, but from what we've read Belkin makes it very difficult to file a claim, so we decided to just file a claim with our homeowner's insurance company…

  • Reliable Product and Service: Buy with confidence because it's backed by a limited lifetime warranty and a $200,000 Connected Equipment Warranty. Check out the full specifications: 6000 volts peak, 15A AC, 125V and 1875W. Each outlet is equipped with a safety lock that locks unused outlets and protects you and your children.

DO NOT BUY ON AMAZON! NO GUARANTEE!

I purchased this product from Revain and as soon as I unpacked it I noticed a design flaw: In all illustrations the unit is oriented with the cord manager at the bottom and the power strip cord at the top. But actually the slotted holes on the back of the extension cord are cut so that the cord manager is on top and the power cord is on the bottom (opposite all the pictures). This means all the power cords stick out in the clip like an upside down mop - not very organised. Then it got even…

Pros
  • Compact, robust and space-saving: Sockets that are far apart offer plenty of space for large plugs and charging boxes. The slim design makes it ideal for home offices, workspaces and playrooms. The heavy-duty 2.4 m cable with 3-pin right-angle plug is practical for working in tight spaces.
