Works perfectly with Chromecast with Google TV provided you use the right power source. You must use a good quality 15W 5V/3A USB-C charger, otherwise you will get an "insufficient power" message when booting. The charger MUST have a USB-C port, it will not work with every charger with a USB-A port or with a USB-AC cable, no matter what the amperage the charger says. Everything works fine the first time it is connected. I mainly use it on my Android phone for streaming because I have weak WiFi, but sometimes I use it on my laptop too. I've found that if you leave it plugged into a power source and come back later to plug it into your device, it charges but the ethernet may not show up.
