Big! Computers and Accessories

This is a great card for expanding or adding USB ports! It's amazingly quick and very easy to install. I give two very happy thumbs up.

The product is good, the installation is easy

No complaints from my side, everything is as it should be, the installation is easy, there are no problems starting. It's a bit more expensive than some of the others, but worth the extra money because I didn't have a headache trying to get it to work.

It works great in my old Dell Dimension XPS 4100

I can't ask for more. It kicked in right away and worked flawlessly. I connected it to a 3.5" 4-port USB 2.0 hub on the front panel via the internal USB port and it works fine too. The hardest part was ripping and breaking off the small metal compartment cover that the Dimension 4100 uses for RF shielding. Now I have so many USB ports it's almost ridiculous. I connected all my toys and still have ports.

Easy setting. . .but. . .

This is a great product for those who want USB 2.0 ports on their computer. However, how much better are you now than the old 1.1 ports you already have? I really do not know it. There is an internal connector for an internal USB drive (I think). Setup was very easy.

Belkin F5U220 USB 5 Port 2.0 PCI Card

I have a Dell Demension 4100 computer with Windows ME. The computer had 2 USB ports, which were no longer sufficient after buying a new digital camera. I decided to add the card to my computer instead of just buying a hub. I have very little experience with computer upgrades. To my surprise, I found adding this card to be a "no-brainer". I just followed the instructions, turned on my computer and after a few butterflies in my stomach everything worked for me. I only gave it 4 stars becauseโ€ฆ

Really great card, compatible with IEEE1275 (Open Firmware, OpenBIOS, OpenBoot).

This is a really good USB 2.0 PCI card, I use it because it has an FCode that allows it to work on IEEE1275 based systems (like PowerMac or SPARC systems) and Since they have more USB ports these systems only have two ports. Appears as: USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB 2.0 (Version 04)
