Quality construction. Rolls smoothly. before you install it.

build quality. Rolls smoothly. Before installing, I filled the tube with enough air to take shape and then dusted the entire tube with baby powder before stuffing it into the tire. At first it looks like the tire is too big for the rim, but after fitting it onto the rim it snaps into place. Never thought a pre-folded flat tire would work without a wire support.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Item NOT ordered

Although these tires seem decent they are NOT the tires I ordered. I ordered a Kevlar tire, a Bell Glide Whitewall Cruiser 26" Kevlar tire (2017 model) and they sent me a Bell Comfort Cruiser Bike tire with a flat guard. The details of the description also represent the actual size of the tire incorrect as the description is written for ETRTO: 57-559 and the tire supplied was ETRTO: 54-559 I also paid about $3.50 more per tire (2 tires) for the tire supplied than mine ordered tires.

Happy Whitewalls!: Tires

I needed to put new tires on my 7 year old Schwinn bike and decided I didn't want to be replaced with solid black tires which afterwards look like white walls to me! I read many reviews and decided to try these Bell tires with reinforced tubes. My son replaced the old with the new, I polished the Schwinn and I'm a happy 85 year old peddler again! I haven't ridden them very many miles but they seem great and have not lost any pressure over the weeks that they have been in use. So I gave them…

Good tires for cruisers, good for cycling

So far, so good. Looks very similar to the original Wide Whites on my Schwinn Cruiser. Tool-free assembly - simply slide them until they fit into the rim. Make sure (as with any tire) that you install them evenly. They have a small rib next to the bead that will help you place them correctly. I originally expected them to have a Kevlar bead like other MTN bike tires I've bought in the past, but the Kevlar is in the tread area. never mind Weight doesn't matter on a cruiser bike. The tread is…

the width is exactly 1.75 - strictly speaking, just like that.

This is a good choice for a 1.75 tire. Rubber quality is good. Good hwy tread design for low rolling resistance. Declared flat resistance integrated in the belt. The price is acceptable. The page says 1.75 - 2.25 wide. In fact, this is a very narrow tire. If you're looking for a 2.25 width, this is definitely not it. Deceptively advertised size fits all sizes. Consider buying a hat that says one size fits all and then it sits tiny on your head like a circus clown. I deserve a disappointment…

2.125 or 1.75? Best in Sport

Not sure what to think of these sizes. I had to swap out the 26x2.125 tires on my bike for a narrower tire and the description for them said they were 26x1.75 which sounded great. I open the box and the side panel says 26 x 2,125. Of course, I was a bit upset because the product description clearly states 26 x 1.75. I think I might as well mount them and see how they fit, and of course they're about a half inch narrower than my previous tires and have plenty of frame clearance (which was an…

Who designed this tire?

This was the worst tire I have ever bought. I've never had the chance to ride [it] so I can't confirm its performance. First, I can understand the tire's inflexible nature due to the added protection it advertises. It was incredibly difficult for me to mount the tire onto the rim, so much so that I was afraid to patch the rim or create burrs. Once on the rim I had to turn around and remove the demon tire to replace the now leaking tube after all the manipulation I had to do. For the life of me…
