Firstly, as others have pointed out, the tread pattern on 27" tires is completely different from what is shown in the picture. Yes, it's a bit annoying to install, the bead is very thick so it's difficult to install where the valve stem attaches to the pipe, the max pressure is 55 which would be absurd. This is a great tire especially for those who regularly commute or occasionally travel. It is very strong, tough and durable. If you're not a "bike geek" and just want a great tire at a great price, then this is the tire for you. However, it is difficult to install. Two people are required for installation (if you don't have 3 hands). I recommend unfolding and laying down the hoop. This tire doesn't have a metal rim on the rim and I think that's why this tire didn't suit me. There is more material in this tire than in the tires I have used. It was very difficult to put it on the wheel, I was afraid that I would bend the rim. It either seemed a little too small to me, or just not elastic enough. This is by far the best tire I have ever bought or ridden at this price point. I bought a set of these to add to my Cannondale Quick bike and have ridden about 20 miles so far. Small bumps and bumps have very little effect on ride when these tires are set to the maximum pressure for the 700 x 35 (75 psi) size.
