Designed to relocate the lower shock mounting point to allow the factory length shock to retain its travel and installation angle. Good product. Perfect fit for our 2004 Silverado 2WD

Great product. Perfect fit for our 2004 Silverado 2WD. It helped a lot to ride after the downhill. Definitely recommend to anyone who lowers their truck 2-4 inches.

Also fits forklifts

I have a 2013 Avalanche with auto level rear shocks. I installed a lift kit (2.5" front and rear) and needed shock extensions to keep my shocks from overextending. They're great for that. Not just for lowering the car.

Corrects the impact angle on lowered trucks.

Worked great adjusting the angle of the rear shock after I lowered my 2001 Chevy truck. I recommend them if you underestimate your car. When you lower the truck, the angle at which the shock absorber works changes. This is not a good angle and can affect driving. They fix that corner. Although not much stretch, but it's okay.

You technically increase travel, but that doesn't make your shock perform better. Actually steps in the direction of impact

Pluses - beautiful black color - coating - thick strong metal - fittings are also of high quality. thick and durable. Perfect fit, no frills. Cons - IMHO not designed to work with a flip kit. But it is so. (if your shock absorbers break enough) - not an extension but more of a "bump". I have no idea why they are called "Shock Extension Kits". You technically increase travel, but that doesn't make your shock perform better. It actually gets thrown to the side of the shock, away from the axle…
