These pads are very hard and easily cut through the toughest mill scale that no other pads I have tried can handle. They also seem to last forever.

effective very very effective. The discs wear out very quickly and when I have space and access I use the 5" version, but for pinch welds and tight corners this is the closest thing to a media blaster you can put on a power tool.

Unfortunately the abrasive does not stick to the threaded shank. They need a better way to attach the purple abrasive to the black roller. It's a shame if the abrasive is scattered around the workshop!

Great for removing paint, bondo/putty and cleaning surface rust. Not too aggressive towards metal. I use them for body work on my cars. They last longer than grinding wheels and can get into places where a grinding wheel won't work (protrusions, drip edges, etc.). Get the job done fast.

Wears like iron, cuts through millscale and paint. Removes weld spatter and rust with little wear on the outside edges. The outside edge will not break when in contact with a sharp burr or edge in the metal finishing. They have outperformed well-known brands at a much lower price. Must be. Independent appraiser.

I bought it to remove powder paint, remove rust, remove scale. Based on the description, these will do all the above tasks without downloading. They're loaded, aren't they, and useless once loaded. I gave it 2 stars because they last longer than flap wheels and are easier on metal than flap wheels and discs.

First of all they are great for removing paint, primer, body filler, surface rust, knuckle skin, weld prep and many other things you want to clean metal without pickups. Unfortunately, however, they tend to fly apart - the purple material rips off the black plastic nozzle and flies through the magazine (a 2-inch wheel at 20,000 rpm is about 185 km/h!). Bags cannot be used as they will fly apart on the first spin of the grinder.
