Race Gas Can Hose Bender

Great item! This really eliminates the need to keep a 5 gallon refill canister. I wish I had had something like this 15 years ago 🙌🏼

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Great price

Will not fit my race fuel tank hose.

Beware buyers, they are too small for the hose on my race fuel tanks. They may advertise a 'different' race fuel tank, but that didn't work on mine. waste of money for me

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Plug required

Brilliant spares item

The VP gas cylinder is amazing, but it has one downside - a hose that connects to the drain. It required two people to hold and pour gasoline. The hose bender is one of those time-saving inventions. They are not expensive and come in seconds. My second use of the gas canister was much easier.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Price that busts the piggy bank

Best for racing pitchers

This keeps you from trying to bend the hose and hit the hole while holding a full 5 gallon racing pitcher. You can use both hands and hit the target every time! Great price and very easy to apply. I had one that was a bit stiff but it was cold and the hose wasn't very flexible. I used a hair dryer, heated and softened the hose, and everything went on.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Works as described - Fuel Tanks

They work great as they allow you to put the filler hose into the tank and spray fuel all over the car and up the sides. They prevent the filling hose from kinking and you only have to turn the fuel tank slightly to empty it completely. I recommend installing them on a new pitcher fill hose as it's easier to avoid twisting the new hose during installation.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Reliability

Ready to use

Being as busy as anyone, when I take the time to write a review it is either very bad or very good. This product is terrible. As many others mentioned, the bend is too aggressive and causes significant flexing of the hose. I've found this on standard diameter tubing from both VP racing canisters and "household jugs" from the farm store. I even went so far as to pre-bend the tubing by placing the jar under my desk for a few days to reduce the coupling factor. No difference, it's just too tight a

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Some imperfections
