Bought these to replace a cable that a puppy was chewing on. It doesn't work with the Nest Camera. The outlet lights up but doesn't send any information to your laptop to wirelessly secure it. Complete junk for our money.

I need this because my dog chewed the original. This one does the job just as well. I'm not sure about the durability but I'm sure it's the same or even better than the original. I would recommend.

I like a few things about this purchase. First, it's a 2-wire package so you can use 2 cameras where the connector is just over 6 feet long. Second, 2 types of wire guides are provided to keep the wire close to the metal or wood window frame. It has wire peel and glue clips for metal windows and clips for wood paneling. Finally, it comes in a nice plastic case for storing the extra clips and the shorter 6ft cables that came with the camera.
