Quick and easy for knitting and crocheting

This is a wonderful item. A friend gave me 3 skeins of Silver Steel thread, enough to weave a wool fabric with an HDC repeat, slip stitches and a P/16 crochet hook. I decided I needed a rim so I ordered this, hoping it would match the medium gray of the silver steel, and added a 3 row rim with sc, hdc and dc rows, making the final one Size was 42"x72". FYI, this is NOT the mid gray used in Silver Steel, it's a shade lighter, but there's not enough difference between the two for most people to…

Pros
  • crochet gauge: sc 7 and 8 rows in 8mm crochet (US L/11)
Cons
  • too boring

Soft and good weight but be careful with the color transfer

This is my first time using this yarn. I usually use a different brand. However, it was one that was a specific color in the amount I needed. There are a few knots in the yarn itself that I had to work around, but other brands I've used also have knots so everything was on par. As a result, it was nice and warm due to the weight I made, plus it was soft. This is a gift so I don't know if it will roll or how long it will last in terms of wear and tear. What worries me is that I'm using a crochet

I LOVE this yarn! for knitting and crocheting

I wanted to crochet a new blanket for my first grandson who will be born on December 13th. I actually picked this exact yarn from my local craft store and then ordered 2 more from here! It was way better here than any of my local shops! This yarn is great for making very thick, incredibly soft blankets! I have used the same brand/type of yarn for blankets before and they are great! They are very durable and very soft! I love that my son can put a blanket on the floor for the baby knowing that…

Knots, obvious yarn breaks, defects, returns, not worth the money.

The yarn has obvious cuts/knots and has been knitted together. Yarn quality imperfection, some parts of the yarn sometimes look "notched" leaving a roughness in my stitch----the roughness looked like it was a problem or a pull you might get after a lot of use when the stitch was finished. If you are making a large piece, e.g. B. a blanket, there is no way to establish a Russian connection. There is no "core" in the yarn, so this method is out and you have to make a magic knot etc. that shows…
