Gentle on the scalp. Start at the ends of your hair and work up, doesn't tangle. Not many strands to clear from brush when you are finished. Very pleased with it's performance.

I loved the look and feel of these brushes. They are so lightweight and leave the hair looking shiny and sleek. That's my review.

First let me say, where has this brush been my whole life? These really detangles my hair easily and gives it that extra shine. For me, both the wet brush and this are just equal, i use them both. I bring this in my bag everywhere (the travel size one) and i can have silky hair everywhere. Buy this, you wont regret it!

UPDATE:I'm dropping a star for lack of longevity. I loved this brush at the beginning, but I've only had it for a year and almost all of the nylon bristles have lost the tip that makes it gentle on your scalp. Great brush to keep the frizz away and the shine high! Seriously always had trouble with frizz. Did some research and found these brushes. Does an excellent job and the price is fabulous. Love that it comes with smaller brush for my purse!

I have shoulder-length, fine hair, but, a lot of it. Other brushes would not penetrate to the scalp. This works so well! It evenly distributes the natural oils in my hair from the scalp, down to my used-to-be dry ends. I love the little bag for the small brush that I carry in my purse. I would definitely buy it again if these ever wear out.

This brush helps with fly always and also makes your hair shine. I always brush my hair really good before bed and it smooths my hair so nice. I got the set with 2 brushes and keep the smaller one in my handbag. Would recommend this product to anyone.

These made brushing my long hair so much easier, faster, and pull out a lot less hair. The travel size one is also nice, it fits in my little toiletries bag and is great for trips with limited packing space.

The boars hair brush bristles are very short and does not work well with thick hair. I have to split my hair into layers for this brush to work for me. The bamboo detangler is ok but seems weak. I am keeping the boar hair brush for my short haired cats.

These hairbrushes are very good with a combo of nylon softly rounded pins and some kind bristle. It says boar but I'm not sure. The bamboo handle is very smooth to hold. My husband likes the feel of the larger brush and I wanted the smaller brush for my purse. So we are both happy- the set came with a small cleaning tool and a bag for the small brush which is a good idea. A good purchase.

I like this brush better than any others I've tried for years. The small brush would be good for traveling, but I've devoted that one to grooming my long-haired calico cat. The value for money--some might think the price was a little high, but for a brush this good (really, 2 brushes) I don't mind at all. And compared to some of the high prestige brands (Mason Pierson, for example), about $20 for 2 brushes is nothing. I got an additional one for a different floor of the house. I'd buy it again…

A friend recommended this brush to me… let me tell you if I had this brush when I was 8 years old a LOT of tears could have been prevented. Not only does this brush comb out knots like they’re nothing but it will pull loose hairs and lint you didn’t know you had in there (gross I know). Brush section just as advertised but very awkward & difficult to hold. Padded/ergonomic redesign of handle would be a great improvement.
