NOT RECOMMENDED. Poor quality material

Very poor material, after a few months of use the straps started to break even though I didn't load them with anything but wet clothes.

Pros
  • The most versatile outdoor fabric storage solution for your Jeep
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Need better UV protection or stronger nylon straps

Worked normally for almost a year and a half Unfortunately they are not very good in the South West good. The nylon straps were crumbling in the sun.

Pros
  • Two side storage pockets (10" long x 8" wide x 4" deep)
Cons
  • Other interesting options available

Great idea, bad execution.

The concept of this bag system is amazing. I used it for a few months but unfortunately the Texan sun quickly killed it between my rides. All the straps broke, I lost my gear and all the gear started tearing. I really hope besttop fixes these issues and releases a corrected version because I would buy it again with the issues fixed. but that's just me

Pros
  • Quality straps and buckles for durability
Cons
  • Repair

We liked its utility on the road

I liked the utility of this on the trail, wish only it could be it was designed a bit better. While tying up some chairs, one of the top straps ripped out (the stitching came undone) and one of the latches came loose trying to untie. The plastic rails holding the large bags, are a bit flimsy, if you put more than 5-10lbs in them they start to deform.I will keep using it but I had extra stitching on the straps and I will only rivet big bags forever so I don't lose them.

Pros
  • Two hard side storage pockets (11" long x 10" wide x 6.5" deep) on each side Extra tool
Cons
  • Not the best

It will do the job, but not very well

I really tried this thing. I've been through the Mojave and Empire deserts, dust storms, heavy rain, undulating roads, freeways, etc. The very first time I tightened one of the straps at the top was one of those to tie something tight and long, such as a sleeping mat or a tent, it immediately pulled away from the main part. I could still use it to just tie it to my security cage, but for most people that would disable that feature. Sometime over the next year, one of the small locking straps…

Pros
  • A longer horizontal pocket (length 21 inches, width 4 inches, height 4 inches)
Cons
  • Useless features
